I grew up in Salado in the 70’s. The creek use to flow really good and the water was sparkling clean. It flowed enough to where we would rent innertubes and flow all the way to Mill Creek. So when it flooded back then, it was ten times worse than this video. We’ve see water get up to first Baptist Church parking lot! It liked a foot from flowing over the tall IH-35 bridge.

The way she described how a good day goes - getting those mundane, ordinary things done. That is so to the point. Grief isn't just a hysterical feeling of despair. It's that feeling of not being able to do anything normal because you have this big hole, this huge energy leak inside you, that takes away every sparkle of joy. It takes away the color in your life. I wish everyone involved a bit of yellow, red and blue, so they can slowly start to make colors again.
